Seven Months Later

Ages since my last journal. I got back to Keele today after the christmas holidays. Second year has been going surprisingly well thus far... Got firsts in both my sociology essays :) I also managed to get a job in september, waitressing in a restaurant two minutes away from my house, buuuuuut today I found out i lost it.. they've had to take on contract staff from another of their businesses which has temporarily closed so some of the casual workers [myself included] had to go. Which sucks immensely... hm. So it will be extreme budgeting for the next few months methinks, particularly as this weekend I've booked a week long holiday to budapest with two of my friends :D we're going 1st july, its going to be brilliant ^_^ I am trying to look on the bright side, as one of my new years resolutions. The others include keeping a diary and reading more books. Need to take more photos as well, I have loads of ideas for deviations but I never get around to it any more. So on the bright side of things... I have exams for the next two weeks but I'm not too worried, as long as I revise enough... I shall be happy holed up here in my lovely room, with plenty of wine on the side to aid post-exam celebrations, and some of my favourite episodes ever of diagnosis murder coming up soon on tv (retribution part I, bbc one, 22nd january, 2:15!). My life is ever so thrilling >_> but i am happy ^^
Did everyone have a good christmas/new years?

normally i would just leave a simple "cheers for the +fav" but since i know you personally ... you can have a smiley as well :D

lols how's everything going? we must plan something for summer. i'll have to find out what im doing re jobs and housing and where my gf is at (clearly after a year apart and only having seen her for 7 days out of 334ish we won't want to stay apart TOO much) ... the last weekend in august (bank holiday) i already have plans, but assuming i dont have much else on, i should be quite the free freakette :)
wellity, over the summer i am in budapest from 1st - 8th july but apart from that i have no plans at the mo. I'm hopefully gonna get a job though :P but no news on that front yet :( so i could end up being very very free indeed...
